The purpose of this study is to study whether overseas student teaching candidates are as likely to find employment as those candidates who focus their student teaching within the United States.

The purpose of this study is to study whether overseas student teaching candidates are as likely to find employment as those candidates who focus their student teaching within the United States.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates whether student teaching candidates who complete their teaching assignments overseas are as likely to find employment as those who complete their student teaching within the United States. Student teaching is a period of guided teaching where candidates practice their skills in a real classroom setting under supervision.

Participants in this study will be observed to see where they complete their student teaching and their subsequent employment status. The study will compare the employment outcomes of those who have taught abroad with those who have taught domestically.

  • Who can participate: Eligible participants are student teaching candidates who have completed their assignments either overseas or within the United States.
  • Study details: Participants will be observed based on their student teaching locations and employment outcomes. The study will not involve any interventions or treatments.
