This project investigates if stereotype threat, ?being at risk of confirming as self-characteristic, a negative stereotype about one?s group? (Steele & Aronson 1995), can be used to excuse poor performance.

This project investigates if stereotype threat, ?being at risk of confirming as self-characteristic, a negative stereotype about one?s group? (Steele & Aronson 1995), can be used to excuse poor performance.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates the concept of stereotype threat, which refers to the risk of confirming a negative stereotype about one's group. The purpose of the study is to understand if this threat can be used as a reason for poor performance.
