Brief description of study.

The purpose of this study is to determine if the severity of clinical manifestations of laryngomalacia may correlate with the endoscopic findings mainly in severe cases, but not necessarily true for mild to moderate cases leading to different clinical approaches within each group of patients.

Detailed description of study

The purpose of this study is to determine if the severity of clinical manifestations of laryngomalacia may correlate with the endoscopic findings mainly in severe cases, but not necessarily true for mild to moderate cases leading to different clinical approaches within each group of patients.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: laryngomalacia
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates the relationship between the severity of laryngomalacia, a condition where the soft tissues of the larynx fall over the airway opening and partially block it, and the findings from an endoscopic examination. The aim is to understand if there is a correlation between how severe the symptoms are and what is seen during the endoscopy, especially in severe cases.

Participants will undergo endoscopic procedures to examine their larynx. The study will compare these endoscopic results with the clinical symptoms experienced by participants to see if there are patterns or correlations, particularly focusing on severe cases of laryngomalacia.

  • Who can participate: Eligibility criteria, including age range or other factors, are not specified in the provided information.
  • Study details: Participants will have an endoscopic examination to assess their larynx. This involves using a small camera to look at the throat area to check for blockages or abnormalities. A placebo is not applicable in this study.
