Brief description of study.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the technical success of DS DPOC in conjunctions with laser lithotripsy (LL, Ho:YAG) or electrohydraulic lithotripsyy (EHL) in the management of difficult biliary duct stones.

Detailed description of study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the technical success of DS DPOC in conjunctions with laser lithotripsy (LL, Ho:YAG) or electrohydraulic lithotripsyy (EHL) in the management of difficult biliary duct stones.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: biliary stones
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates the effectiveness of using special techniques to manage difficult biliary duct stones. Biliary duct stones are hard deposits that form in the bile duct, which can cause blockages. The study aims to assess how well these techniques work in breaking down these stones.

Participants in the study will undergo procedures involving laser lithotripsy or electrohydraulic lithotripsy. Laser lithotripsy uses laser energy to break down stones, while electrohydraulic lithotripsy uses electrical energy to achieve the same goal.

  • Who can participate: Eligibility criteria include individuals diagnosed with difficult biliary duct stones and who are candidates for lithotripsy procedures.
  • Study details: Participants will undergo procedures that use either laser lithotripsy or electrohydraulic lithotripsy to manage biliary duct stones. These procedures aim to break down the stones to relieve blockages.
