The purpose of this study is to investigate if n-acetyl cysteine, an over the counter supplement, affects the blood response when breathing a low oxygen gas.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 18 years - 35 years
  • Gender: Male

This study investigates the effects of an investigational supplement on the blood's response when breathing low oxygen gas. The supplement being studied is n-acetyl cysteine, which is commonly available over the counter.

Participants will be asked to breathe low oxygen gas while their blood response is monitored. This will help researchers understand how the supplement affects the body's reaction to low oxygen levels.
