Erythropoietic responses to n-acetyl cysteine and low sodium diet in endurance athletes.
Study on the Effects of an Investigational Supplement on Blood Response to Low Oxygen
Brief description of study.
The purpose of this study is to investigate if n-acetyl cysteine, an over the counter supplement, affects the blood response when breathing a low oxygen gas.
Detailed description of study

Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: healthy
-
Age: 18 years - 35 years
-
Gender: Male
This study investigates the effects of an investigational supplement on the blood's response when breathing low oxygen gas. The supplement being studied is n-acetyl cysteine, which is commonly available over the counter.
Participants will be asked to breathe low oxygen gas while their blood response is monitored. This will help researchers understand how the supplement affects the body's reaction to low oxygen levels.
- Who can participate: Participants eligible for the study are adults aged 18 to 65, who do not have any respiratory conditions and are not currently taking any medications that could interfere with the study.
- Study details: Participants will breathe a low oxygen gas, and researchers will monitor their blood response to evaluate the effects of the investigational supplement.
