The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of disordered immunologic factors in the pathogenesis of schizophrenia and related psychotic disorders.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of disordered immunologic factors in the pathogenesis of schizophrenia and related psychotic disorders.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: schizophrenia
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of disordered immunologic factors in the pathogenesis of schizophrenia and related psychotic disorders. Schizophrenia is a mental health condition that affects a person's thinking, feeling, and behavior. Researchers are exploring how the immune system, which helps protect the body from illnesses, might be involved in these mental health conditions.

In this study, participants will undergo various procedures to examine their immune system and its activities. These procedures may include blood tests and other assessments to understand how immune responses might relate to schizophrenia and similar disorders.
