The purpose of this study is to determine whether seeing open-ended gender demographic questions or those that allow for multiple selections will reduce participants' endorsement of gender essentialist beliefs.

The purpose of this study is to determine whether seeing open-ended gender demographic questions or those that allow for multiple selections will reduce participants' endorsement of gender essentialist beliefs.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates how different types of gender demographic questions might influence people's beliefs about gender. Gender essentialist beliefs are the idea that men and women have fixed traits that are different from each other. The study will compare open-ended questions with those allowing multiple selections to see if they change these beliefs.
