Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: type 2 diabetes

Age: 100 years or below

The purpose of this study is to investigate if reducing weight and hemoglobin A1c (a measure of blood sugar levels) can prevent surgical complications and wound healing issues. This study aims to see if these reductions can also decrease the length of hospital stay after surgery.
