The purpose of this study is to determine if reducing weight adn hgb A1c can prevent surgical complications, wound healing issues, and reduce length of stay postoperatively, resulting in cost savings.

The purpose of this study is to determine if reducing weight adn hgb A1c can prevent surgical complications, wound healing issues, and reduce length of stay postoperatively, resulting in cost savings.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: type 2 diabetes
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to investigate if reducing weight and hemoglobin A1c (a measure of blood sugar levels) can prevent surgical complications and wound healing issues. This study aims to see if these reductions can also decrease the length of hospital stay after surgery.

Participants in this study will undergo procedures to monitor their weight and blood sugar levels. The study will assess the impact of these factors on surgical recovery, focusing on complications and healing.
