This study investigates whether an investigational medication can improve walking and balance in people with Alzheimer's disease, dementia with Lewy bodies, or Parkinson's disease dementia. These conditions often cause problems with movement, making it difficult for patients to walk steadily or maintain balance.
Participants will receive either the investigational medication or a placebo. A placebo is an inactive substance that looks like the investigational medication but does not contain any medicine. The study will assess changes in walking and balance over time.
- Who can participate: Participants aged 50 to 85 years with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease, dementia with Lewy bodies, or Parkinson's disease dementia are eligible. Key eligibility factors include difficulty in walking or maintaining balance.
