A COG Study for Collecting and Banking Ewing Sarcoma Specimens
Study on Collecting Samples from Patients with Ewing Sarcoma, a Type of Cancer in Bones or Soft Tissue
Brief description of study.
This research study is collecting and storing samples of tumor tissue, bone marrow, and blood from patients with Ewing sarcoma. Collecting and storing samples of tumor tissue, bone marrow, and blood from patients with cancer to test in the laboratory may help the study of cancer in the future.
Detailed description of study
The purpose of this study is to collect biological specimens, including associated demographic and clinical data, from patients with Ewing sarcoma; to provide a repository for long-term storage of Ewing sarcoma-related biological materials; and to make collected specimens available to qualified researchers to understand the biology of Ewing sarcoma and correlate these results with demographic and clinical data.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: Ewing Sarcoma
-
Age: 21 years or below
-
Gender: All
This study investigates the collection of samples from patients with Ewing sarcoma, a type of cancer that occurs in bones or soft tissue. The purpose of this study is to gather tumor tissue, bone marrow, and blood samples to aid in future research on cancer.
Participants will have samples of their tumor tissue, bone marrow, and blood collected and stored. These samples, along with demographic and clinical data, will be made available to researchers to study the biology of Ewing sarcoma.
- Who can participate: Eligibility criteria are not specified.
- Study details: Participants will provide samples of tumor tissue, bone marrow, and blood. These samples will be stored for future research. No additional actions are required from participants.
