This study investigates how different teaching methods for playing the violin can be applied to a simplified piece of music that involves changing strings. String shifting is a technique where violinists move from one string to another while playing, and this study aims to explore how various pedagogical approaches can aid in mastering this skill.
Participants will engage in activities that involve playing specific music excerpts designed to test string shifting techniques. The study will observe and record the effectiveness of different teaching methods in helping participants learn and execute these techniques.
