Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: asthma
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates how exposure to smoking at home affects children with asthma who need emergency care. Asthma is a condition that makes it hard to breathe because the airways in the lungs become narrow and swollen. The study aims to find out how common it is for children with asthma to be exposed to smoking at home and how this exposure impacts their need for emergency medical attention.

Participants will be involved in procedures that may include answering questions about smoking habits at home and their child's asthma symptoms. The study may also involve reviewing medical records to assess emergency care visits related to asthma.

  • Who can participate: Children aged X to Y with asthma who are exposed to household smoking may join.
  • Study details: Participants may be asked to provide information about smoking in the home and their child's asthma condition. The study might also involve looking at medical records to understand the emergency care received for asthma.
