Brief description of study.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate a new imaging test called 11C-GSK1482160 PET/CT which may detect the presence of tissue inflammation.

Detailed description of study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the tissue distribution and pharmacokinetics of the 11C-GSK1482160 PET radiopharmaceutical, allowing estimation of radiation dosimetry for this targeted radiopharmaceutical intended for use in imaging to detect and quantify tissue inflammation.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: kidney disease
  • Age: 18 years - 100 years
  • Gender: All

This study investigates an imaging test that might help in detecting tissue inflammation. The test uses a special radiopharmaceutical that is designed to show how inflammation spreads in the body.

Participants in the study will undergo imaging procedures to see how the radiopharmaceutical moves and breaks down in the body. This helps in understanding how much radiation is absorbed by different tissues.
