Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: Ileal Pouch-Anal Anastomosis
-
Age: 100 years or below
-
Gender: All
This study investigates ileal J-pouch anal anastomosis (IPAA) in pediatric patients. The ileal J-pouch is a surgical procedure often performed after removal of the colon and rectum, where a pouch is created from the end of the small intestine and attached to the anus to help with waste elimination.
The study will review past medical records of pediatric patients who have undergone the IPAA procedure. This means researchers will look at data that has already been collected to understand outcomes and complications associated with this surgery.
- Who can participate: The study focuses on pediatric patients who have undergone ileal J-pouch anal anastomosis (IPAA).
- Study details: Participants do not need to take any action as this is a retrospective study, meaning it uses existing medical records.
