The purpose of this study is to examine the information content of clinical notes, through methods known to computational narratology/cognitive science and validate these methods against psychometric instruments which purport to measure a similar concept.

The purpose of this study is to examine the information content of clinical notes, through methods known to computational narratology/cognitive science and validate these methods against psychometric instruments which purport to measure a similar concept.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to investigate the information content of clinical notes. This will be done using methods from computational narratology and cognitive science. These fields study how stories are structured and understood by the mind.

The study will compare these computational methods with psychometric instruments. Psychometric instruments are tools used to measure mental functions and behaviors. Participants will engage in activities that involve evaluating clinical notes.
