Research Study on Speech Production in Children with Changing Oral Anatomy

The purpose of this study is to investigate how elementary-school aged children produce speech against the backdrop of rapidly changing/growing oral anatomy.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how elementary-school aged children produce speech against the backdrop of rapidly changing/growing oral anatomy.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

Age: 100 years or below

This study investigates how children in elementary school produce speech while their oral anatomy is changing and growing. Oral anatomy refers to the parts of the mouth, such as the tongue and teeth, which are important for speaking.
Participants in the study will be observed and their speech will be analyzed. This will help researchers understand how changes in the mouth affect speech production.
- Who can participate: Children aged 6-12 years who are in elementary school and experiencing changes in their oral anatomy are eligible to participate.
- Study details: Participants will have their speech recorded and analyzed to study how changes in the mouth affect speech.
