Brief description of study.

The purpose of this study is to collect samples from subjects presenting at Bell Flower Clinic for a routine standard-of-care evaluation for Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV). The study will evaluate the efficacy of the ELITech HSV 1 & 2 ELITe MGB Kit in detecting HSV.

The purpose of this study is to collect samples from subjects presenting at Bell Flower Clinic for a routine standard-of-care evaluation for Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV). The study will evaluate the efficacy of the ELITech HSV 1 & 2 ELITe MGB Kit in detecting HSV.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: HSV
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates the detection of Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV) using an investigational kit. Herpes Simplex Virus is a common virus that can cause sores on the mouth or genitals. The purpose of this study is to understand how well the investigational kit can find the virus in samples from people who visit a clinic for their regular check-up.

Participants will have samples collected during their routine clinic visit. These samples will be tested using the investigational kit to see if it can accurately detect the presence of HSV. This process involves using a specific test kit designed to identify the virus in the collected samples.

  • Who can participate: The study is open to adults visiting Bell Flower Clinic for a routine evaluation. Participants should be undergoing standard care for Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV).
