Brief description of study.
The purpose of this study is to investigate healthcare utilization during and after an intervention for brain injury survivors called Resource Facilitation.
Detailed description of study
The purpose of this study is to investigate healthcare utilization during and after an intervention for brain injury survivors called Resource Facilitation.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: brain injury
-
Age: 100 years or below
-
Gender: All
The purpose of this study is to investigate healthcare utilization during and after an intervention for brain injury survivors called Resource Facilitation. Brain injury can impact a person's ability to manage daily activities, and Resource Facilitation is a program designed to help survivors access services and support for recovery.
Participants in this study will undergo procedures to track their use of healthcare services. This will help researchers understand how Resource Facilitation affects the way brain injury survivors use healthcare resources over time.
- Who can participate: Participants must be adults aged 18 and over who have experienced a brain injury. Key eligibility factors include having completed initial rehabilitation and requiring ongoing support.
- Study details: Participants will be involved in tracking their healthcare service usage. This will include monitoring the types of services accessed and the frequency of visits. If applicable, a placebo may be used, defined as an inactive substance that looks like the investigational medicine/vaccine but does not contain any medicine.
