The purpose of this study is to examine if foreign language learners of Spanish learn more when they receive corrections on various errors during or after a picture-based story retell task they complete with the co- research face to face (FTF) or using text chat via the computer.

The purpose of this study is to examine if foreign language learners of Spanish learn more when they receive corrections on various errors during or after a picture-based story retell task they complete with the co- research face to face (FTF) or using text chat via the computer.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to investigate how Spanish language learners improve when they receive corrections on errors. It focuses on whether learning is better when corrections are given during or after a picture-based story retell task. This task can be completed either face-to-face or through text chat on the computer.

Participants will engage in a story retell task, where they describe a series of pictures. They will receive feedback on their language errors either during the task or after completing it. This feedback will help identify which method of correction is more effective for learning.
