Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: suicide
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates the potential use of Twitter activity at bedtime to assess the risk of suicide. Suicide risk assessment is a process used to identify individuals who may be at risk of harming themselves. By studying social media patterns, researchers aim to find ways to better understand and predict these risks.

Participants in this study will be asked to share their Twitter usage data, focusing on the time around bedtime. This will help researchers analyze patterns and behaviors that might indicate an increased risk of suicide. The study does not involve any medication or physical procedures.

  • Who can participate: Participants must be adults aged 18 and over who actively use Twitter, particularly during evening hours. Key eligibility factors include regular Twitter activity and willingness to share usage data.
  • Study details: Participants will be required to provide access to their Twitter data, particularly focusing on their activity during bedtime hours. This will allow researchers to study any patterns that may relate to suicide risk.
