Detailed description of study

The purpose of this study is to collect clinical isolate card and reference data to demonstrate the effectiveness of the GP20 card for antimicrobial testing when used on the Vitek2 and Vitek2 compact systems.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of the GP20 card for antimicrobial testing. Antimicrobial testing is a process used to determine the effectiveness of antibiotics against bacteria. This study will use the GP20 card with the Vitek2 and Vitek2 compact systems, which are devices that help identify bacteria and determine the best antibiotic treatment.

Participants in this study will have clinical isolate cards collected. A clinical isolate card contains samples of bacteria taken from patients, which are then tested to see how they react to different antibiotics. By collecting these cards, researchers can gather data to assess how well the GP20 card works in identifying effective antibiotics.

  • Who can participate: Eligibility criteria are not specified in the provided information.
  • Study details: Participants will need to provide clinical isolate cards for testing. The study involves using these cards with the Vitek2 and Vitek2 compact systems to assess antibiotic effectiveness.
