The purpose of this study is to examine the learning of pragmatic features in Spanish as a second language by classroom learners by examining the use and development of Spanish 2nd person pronominal address (t? 'you-informal' vs usted 'you-formal').

The purpose of this study is to examine the learning of pragmatic features in Spanish as a second language by classroom learners by examining the use and development of Spanish 2nd person pronominal address (t? 'you-informal' vs usted 'you-formal').

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates the learning of pragmatic features in Spanish as a second language. It focuses on how classroom learners use and develop the Spanish second person pronouns, such as 'tú' for informal and 'usted' for formal address.
