Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates the differences in muscle strength, endurance, cognitive function, and overall quality of life among older adults. It focuses on those who participate in unstructured exercise, structured exercise, or sedentary social activities. Unstructured exercise refers to physical activity that is not planned or organized, while structured exercise is planned and systematic. Sedentary social activities involve minimal physical movement and are more socially oriented.

Participants in the study will undergo assessments to measure their muscle strength and endurance, cognitive abilities, and quality of life. These assessments will help determine the impact of different types of physical and social activities on these health aspects. The study will compare these factors across the different groups to identify any significant differences.

  • Who can participate: Older adults aged 65 and above who are involved in either unstructured exercise, structured exercise, or sedentary social activities are eligible for this study.
  • Study details: Participants will be required to complete assessments that measure their muscle strength, endurance, cognitive function, and quality of life. These assessments are designed to evaluate the impact of their activity levels.
