Brief description of study.

I would like to conduct a listening study to determine how human subjects assess noisy and noise-reduced speech signals in real environments. This study will help determine which aspects of speech directly impact the speech's quality and intelligibility. The results from this study will be used to develop computational assessment metrics for various speech signals.

I would like to conduct a listening study to determine how human subjects assess noisy and noise-reduced speech signals in real environments. This study will help determine which aspects of speech directly impact the speech's quality and intelligibility. The results from this study will be used to develop computational assessment metrics for various speech signals.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates how people perceive speech when there is background noise and after noise has been reduced. The purpose is to find out which parts of speech affect how clear and understandable it is.

Participants will listen to different speech samples with varying levels of background noise and noise reduction. They will then provide feedback on the quality and clarity of the speech they hear.

  • Who can participate: The study is open to individuals of all ages interested in participating in a listening study.
  • Study details: Participants will be required to listen to speech samples and provide feedback on their quality and intelligibility. There are no additional actions required from participants.
