Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates how engineering design practices, with a focus on emerging technologies like making and DIY electronics, can be integrated into the home environments of families from under-resourced communities. Emerging technologies refer to new tools and methods that are being developed and become available for use, such as creating projects with simple electronic parts at home.

The study involves implementing and refining a program that helps families incorporate these technologies into their daily lives. Participants will engage in activities that teach them how to use and apply these technologies effectively in their home settings.

  • Who can participate: Families from under-resourced communities are eligible to participate. There are no specific age restrictions mentioned.
  • Study details: Participants will be involved in a program that integrates engineering design practices into their home environments. They will engage in hands-on activities, such as creating projects with DIY electronics, to learn practical applications of these technologies.
