Brief description of study.

This will be a prospective, randomized controlled study. Subjects referred for screening, surveillance, or diagnostic colonoscopy will be prospectively enrolled. The primary endpoint of the study will be the adenomas per colonoscopy (APC) of the Endocuff Vision Colonoscopy compared to that of the Medivators AmplifEYE Colonoscopy.

Detailed description of study

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: colonoscopy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates different techniques used during colonoscopy to detect adenomas, which are a type of polyp that can develop into cancer. The purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness of two different devices used during the procedure: the Endocuff Vision and the Medivators AmplifEYE. Adenomas per colonoscopy (APC) is the main measure being studied.

Participants will undergo a colonoscopy using one of the two devices. The study is designed to see which device helps doctors find more adenomas during the procedure. This is important because finding and removing adenomas can prevent colorectal cancer.

  • Who can participate: Individuals referred for screening, surveillance, or diagnostic colonoscopy may be eligible to participate.
  • Study details: The study will compare the number of adenomas detected using either the Endocuff Vision or the Medivators AmplifEYE during colonoscopy.
