The purpose of this research is to understand how a mid-sized urban school district (i.e., Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation) implements a new school improvement process, which is referred to as improvement science, within the context of a university-district professional development partnership. The study will examine both district and school responses to the improvement process using qualitative research methods.

The purpose of this research is to understand how a mid-sized urban school district (i.e., Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation) implements a new school improvement process, which is referred to as improvement science, within the context of a university-district professional development partnership. The study will examine both district and school responses to the improvement process using qualitative research methods.

This study investigates how a mid-sized urban school district implements a school improvement process called improvement science.
