Person to Person Health Interview Study (P2P)
Investigating How Environment and Genetics Affect Disease Risk
Brief description of study.
The goal of the Person to Person Health Interview Study is to better understand how the social and physical environments, culture, behaviors and genetic traits puts a person at risk for certain diseases and impacts their ability to respond and recover. The purpose of the study is to create a unique multi-level data set with cutting-edge data on genetics, biology, and the sociocultural and physical environment to expand our knowledge about the factors that shape diseases and disease risk, how it affects treatment outcomes and the ways individuals respond. The purpose of the saliva sample is to learn about biological factors like DNA in order to find the causes of disease and develop new treatments.

Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: healthy
-
Age: 100 years or below
-
Gender: All
This study investigates how social and physical environments, culture, behaviors, and genetic traits affect a person's risk for certain diseases and their ability to respond and recover. It aims to create a comprehensive data set that includes information on genetics, biology, and sociocultural and physical environments to enhance understanding of disease factors and treatment outcomes.
Participants will provide saliva samples to help researchers learn about biological factors such as DNA. This will aid in identifying the causes of diseases and developing potential treatments.
- Who can participate: Participants must be adults aged 18 and older. Key eligibility factors include no prior history of certain genetic disorders and the ability to provide informed consent.
- Study details: Participants will be asked to provide a saliva sample. This will be used to study biological factors like DNA, which can assist researchers in understanding disease causes and developing treatments.
