Brief description of study.

The purpose of this study is to better understand how different parts of the brain communicate with each other in people who use cannabis and in people who have not used it.

Detailed description of study

We will specifically be looking at brain connectivity during neuroimaging (fMRI) during the learning, unlearning, and timing of automatic eye-blinks.
The study will last approximately 8 hours over one or two days. Eligible participants will be compensated $30/hr.
This study takes place in Indianapolis, IN or Bloomington, IN.

Participants will be paid for their participation.

  • Age: 18 years - 38 years
  • Gender: All

Volunteers needed who currently use marijuana, and volunteers who are not using any illicit drugs

This study investigates how different parts of the brain communicate with each other in people who use cannabis and those who do not. The focus is on brain connectivity, which refers to how different areas of the brain work together, during tasks that involve learning, unlearning, and the timing of automatic eye-blinks.

Participants will undergo neuroimaging using functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) to observe their brain activity. The study involves tasks related to eye-blinks, which are automatic eye movements that can be conditioned to occur in response to certain stimuli.
