One-on-one exercise program in adolescent and young adult cancer survivors with a certified clinical cancer exercise specialist
Investigating Exercise Impact on Cancer Survivors' Health
Brief description of study.
The purpose of this study is to better understand whether or not adolescent and young adult cancer survivors can complete an exercise program after treatment and whether or not that program may impact cardiovascular strength and balance. Researchers will also study changes in the blood and body that may occur during the program by collecting samples of blood at various times during the study.
Participants have been diagnosed with cancer and have completed their cancer treatment ( not including hormonal or continued maintenance treatment).
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: Cancer
-
Age: 15 years - 39 years
-

This study investigates the ability of adolescent and young adult cancer survivors to complete an exercise program after their treatment. The purpose is to understand how such a program might affect cardiovascular strength and balance. Researchers will also examine changes in the blood and body that occur during the program by collecting blood samples at different times.
Participants will engage in a structured exercise regimen. The program will include various physical activities designed to test and improve cardiovascular strength and balance. Blood samples will be taken at specific intervals to analyze physiological changes.
- Who can participate: Participants must be adolescent or young adult cancer survivors, at least three months post-cytotoxic chemotherapy, and aged 18-39 years.
- Study details: Participants will follow a structured exercise program, and blood samples will be collected to study physiological changes.
