You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

This study investigates the effects of beetroot juice consumption on exercise ability and blood vessel function in postmenopausal women. Postmenopausal women often experience changes in blood vessel function, which can affect overall health. The study aims to understand if beetroot juice, a natural food known for its potential health benefits, can improve these aspects.
Participants will undergo a series of assessments and training sessions. The study includes screening and baseline assessment visits, followed by 8 weeks of supervised exercise training. After the training period, participants will have follow-up assessment visits to measure any changes.
- Who can participate: This study is open to postmenopausal women with a BMI between 27.0 and 34.9 kg/m2 who are not currently exercising regularly (less than 3 days per week).
- Study details: Participants will consume beetroot juice as part of the study. They will also take part in supervised exercise sessions. A placebo, which is an inactive substance that looks like the investigational juice but does not contain any active ingredients, may be used in the study.
- Study Timelines and Visits: The study will last 14 weeks. The study requires 9 visits.
