THIS STUDY IS ENROLLING BY INVITATION ONLY - Potential research subjects will be pooled from patients scheduled to receive an endodontic evaluation and/or clinical treatment in the Graduate Endodontic clinic at Indiana University School of Dentistry.

This study investigates the methods used in endodontic evaluation and treatment. Endodontics is a branch of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of dental pulp and the tissues surrounding the root of a tooth.

Participants in this study will undergo various endodontic procedures as part of their clinical treatment. These procedures will be monitored and analyzed to understand their effectiveness and outcomes.

  • Who can participate: Participants aged 18 and above are invited from those scheduled for endodontic evaluation or treatment at the Indiana University School of Dentistry.
  • Study details: Participants will receive standard endodontic evaluations and treatments, which may include procedures like root canals. These are routine dental procedures to treat issues within the tooth. A placebo, an inactive substance that looks like the investigational medicine/vaccine but does not contain any medicine, may be used for comparison in the study.
