Detailed description of study
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: schizophrenia,schizoaffective disorder,healthy,schizoaffective,schizophrenic
-
Age: 18 years - 55 years

This study investigates how the brain works during decision-making. It focuses on healthy individuals and those diagnosed with schizophrenia. The study will look at how different factors like reward value, probability, and risk influence decisions. Researchers will also analyze brain activity related to loss aversion, reward seeking, and how often events occur.
Participants will take part in tasks that help collect data on their decision-making processes. These tasks will help researchers understand how the brain reacts to different situations. The study will involve recording and analyzing brain signals to identify patterns related to decision-making.
- Who can participate: Adults with no history of mental or neurological disorders can participate. Exclusion criteria include arriving intoxicated on the day of testing, having a history of head injury causing unconsciousness over 2 minutes, or fear of enclosed spaces.
- Study details: Participants will engage in tasks designed to study decision-making and brain activity. They will receive compensation for their involvement.
