Children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or children not diagnosed with ASD
Children with no history of neurological disorders
This study investigates how the brain develops in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and those without it. Autism Spectrum Disorder is a condition that affects how a person thinks, interacts, and experiences the world. The study aims to understand how different parts of the brain connect and maintain balance during activities that measure social understanding.
Participants will undergo assessments that look at social thinking and brain activity. These assessments might involve tasks or tests that measure how children understand and react to social situations. The study will be conducted in Indianapolis and Columbus, Indiana.
- Who can participate: Children who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or those without such a diagnosis can participate. Participants should not have any history of neurological disorders.
- Study details: Participants will take part in investigational assessments that measure social cognition and brain function. These assessments may include various tasks to understand social interactions.
