Inclusion Criteria
Current (past-month) users of alcohol, marijuana or tobacco
The purpose of this study is to investigate how and why teenagers use substances like alcohol, marijuana, and tobacco. It aims to understand the impact of these substances on their health. The study will involve sending brief daily surveys to teenagers for two weeks to collect data.
Participants will answer questions about their daily use of marijuana and other substances. The study focuses on African American adolescents to explore the reasons behind using more marijuana compared to other groups. Participants will be compensated for their involvement.
- Who can participate: Teenagers who have used alcohol, marijuana, or tobacco in the past month can participate.
- Study details: Participants will receive daily surveys via text for two weeks. They will need to answer questions about their substance use each day. Participants will be compensated for their time.
