You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: Down syndrome

Age: 18 years - 100 years

Gender: All
Inclusion Criteria
The target population for this study will be adults with Down syndrome, their family members, and direct support professionals who work with adults with Down syndrome.
identified with Down syndrome
willing and able to participate in a focus group and in-home interview
family members of an adult with Down syndrome
caregivers who work regularly with adults with Down syndrome
Exclusion Criteria
Individuals who are nonverbal
This study investigates the experiences and quality of life of adults with Down syndrome. It aims to understand these experiences from the perspectives of the individuals themselves, their family members, and the professionals who support them. Down syndrome is a genetic condition that affects a person's development and learning abilities.
Participants will take part in focus groups and home interviews. These are discussions and meetings where they can share their thoughts and experiences. The study does not offer payment for participation.
- Who can participate: Adults with Down syndrome, their family members, and caregivers who work with them can participate. Participants must be willing to join focus groups and interviews. Individuals who are nonverbal are not eligible.
