Brief description of study.
Detailed description of study
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: healthy
-
Age: 18 years - 100 years
-
Gender: All
Exclusion Criteria
Any females of childbearing potential with a positive urine pregnancy test will be excluded from participation due to unknown risk to the embryo or fetus
This study investigates the genetics behind differences in facial morphology, which refers to the form and structure of facial features. The purpose of this study is to explore how variations in human facial structure can be assessed using advanced imaging techniques like cone-beam computed tomography, 2D, and 3D images. Facial soft tissue thickness (FSTT) will be measured to see if the visible characteristics of the face can be predicted from stable skeletal landmarks.
Participants in this study will undergo imaging procedures to gather data on their facial structure. The study uses methods like cone-beam computed tomography to capture detailed images of the face. These images will help researchers understand the relationship between the underlying skeletal structure and the visible facial features.
- Who can participate: Females of childbearing potential with a positive urine pregnancy test are excluded due to potential risks. Participants should be willing to undergo imaging procedures.
- Study details: Participants will undergo imaging procedures such as cone-beam computed tomography to assess facial structure. No compensation is provided for participation.
