This study investigates the experiences and expectations of young people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) as they transition from a pediatric gastroenterologist to an adult gastroenterologist. Inflammatory bowel disease is a term used for two main conditions, Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, which cause inflammation in the digestive tract.

- Who can participate: Young individuals aged [specific age range] diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) who are transitioning from pediatric to adult gastroenterology care are eligible to participate.
- Study details: Participants will share their experiences and expectations through interviews or questionnaires. This information will help researchers understand the transition process better.
