Collection of Blood and Urine Samples in Cirrhotic Patients for Future Research
Investigation of Biological Samples from Patients with Cirrhosis
Brief description of study.
This study will collect blood and urine samples from patients with cirrhosis to be used for later research studies.
Detailed description of study
The aim of this proposal is to collect biological samples and selected phenotype data from patients with cirrhosis. We would like to collect blood, urine, and genomic DNA from each subject along with selected phenotype data.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: Cirrhosis
-
Age: 18 years - 100 years
-
Gender: All
This study investigates cirrhosis, which is a condition where the liver becomes scarred and does not function properly. The purpose of this study is to collect blood, urine, and genomic DNA samples from patients who have cirrhosis.
Participants will provide blood and urine samples, as well as a sample for genomic DNA analysis. The study will also collect selected phenotype data, which means information about the participants' observable traits or characteristics.
- Who can participate: The study is open to patients diagnosed with cirrhosis. Age criteria may apply.
- Study details: Participants will provide blood, urine, and genomic DNA samples, and phenotype data will be collected to gather information about observable traits.
