The purpose of this study is to determine whether metformin will improve DHEAS levels in girls with premature pubarche.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: Diabetes - Type II

Age: 4 years - 10 years

Gender: Female
This study investigates the effects of an investigational medication on hormone levels in girls with premature pubarche. Premature pubarche is a condition where children develop pubic hair earlier than usual due to hormone changes. This study aims to understand if the investigational medication can improve levels of a hormone called DHEAS, which is linked to this condition.
Participants in the study will receive either the investigational medication or a placebo. A placebo is an inactive substance that looks like the investigational medication but does not contain any active ingredients.
