The goal of the study is to resolve the following paradox: How can Americans want an egalitarian economic system and simultaneously oppose efforts at economic redistribution.

The goal of the study is to resolve the following paradox: How can Americans want an egalitarian economic system and simultaneously oppose efforts at economic redistribution.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Justice
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to investigate why Americans may desire an equal economic system but still oppose economic redistribution. This study seeks to understand the reasons behind these seemingly conflicting views.

Participants will be asked to complete surveys and participate in interviews to share their thoughts and opinions on economic equality and redistribution. The study will collect data on public attitudes and analyze the results to uncover underlying factors.

  • Who can participate: Participants must be 18 years or older and reside in the United States. They should have opinions or experiences related to economic systems and redistribution.
  • Study details: Participants will engage in surveys and interviews. These activities will help gather insights into their views on economic equality and redistribution.
