Brief description of study.

The purpose of this study is to learn if the main type of drugs currently used works and if one of these drugs (called haloperidol) is better than another (called ziprasidone).

The purpose of this study is to learn if the main type of drugs currently used works and if one of these drugs (called haloperidol) is better than another (called ziprasidone).

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Age: 18 years - 100 years
  • Gender: All

This study investigates the effectiveness of two antipsychotic medications. Antipsychotic medications are drugs used to manage psychosis, including delusions, hallucinations, paranoia, or disordered thought, primarily in schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

Participants in the study will receive either one of the two medications to compare their effectiveness. The study aims to determine which medication works better for managing symptoms.
