This study investigates the needs and characteristics of patients in the United States who require home parenteral nutrition. Parenteral nutrition is a method of feeding a person intravenously, bypassing the usual process of eating and digestion. This is often necessary for individuals whose digestive systems are not functioning properly.

Participants in the study may be asked to provide information about their health and nutritional needs. This may involve answering questions or providing medical records to help researchers understand the demographics and health conditions of those needing home parenteral nutrition.

  • Who can participate: Adults aged 18 and older who require home parenteral nutrition due to non-functioning digestive systems are eligible to participate.
  • Study details: Participants will be asked to share information about their health and nutritional needs, which may include answering questions or providing medical records.
