Cepheid is conducting this study to determine the accuracy of the Xpert Trichomonas Assay which is an investigational test.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Trichomonas
  • Age: 18 years - 100 years
  • Gender: All

This study investigates the accuracy of an investigational test for Trichomonas, a common sexually transmitted infection. Trichomonas is caused by a parasite and can lead to itching, burning, and unusual discharge.

Participants will undergo testing using the investigational test, which aims to detect the presence of Trichomonas. The study will compare the results of the investigational test with standard testing methods to evaluate its accuracy.

  • Who can participate: The study is open to adults aged 18 and over who may have symptoms of Trichomonas infection. Participants should be willing to undergo testing for the infection.
