Functional motor cortex stimulation to repair damaged movement representations after stroke
Brief description of study.
The purpose if this study is to determine how the brain stimulation method called repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation compared to practice or stimulation alone.
Detailed description of study
The purpose this study is how to better facilitate recovery of movement in survivors of stroke by studying the mechanisms associated with potential interventions. We will investigate how the brain responds to stimulation with exercise compared to exercise or stimulation alone by measuring brain and/or muscle activity at rest or during movement tasks.
