Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates how children's views on gender roles and the influence of their peers affect their choices in media that are considered appropriate for their gender. Gender roles refer to behaviors and attitudes that society expects from boys and girls. For example, a gender-appropriate media choice might be a young boy preferring a show made for boys.

Participants in the study will be observed to see how their attitudes and peer influences shape their media preferences. The study will look at different factors that contribute to these preferences, helping to understand the impact of societal norms on children's media choices.

  • Who can participate: Participants will typically include children within a certain age range, such as 6 to 12 years old, and must not have any cognitive impairments that could affect their media preferences.
  • Study details: Participants will watch various media selections and their preferences will be recorded and analyzed. The study will focus on societal norms impacting children's choices.
