The purpose of this study is to test the hypothesis that subjects' attitude strength, measured by the response latency in speeded I like/I don't like evaluation tasks, will increase the consistencies between the implicit and explicit measures of their attitudes.

The purpose of this study is to test the hypothesis that subjects' attitude strength, measured by the response latency in speeded I like/I don't like evaluation tasks, will increase the consistencies between the implicit and explicit measures of their attitudes.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to investigate how the strength of a person's attitude can affect the consistency between what they consciously think and what they subconsciously feel. This is measured by how quickly they respond to questions about whether they like or dislike something.

Participants will engage in tasks where they quickly respond to prompts indicating their preference. The study will measure the time it takes for them to decide, which helps in understanding the strength of their attitudes.
