The purpose of this study is to explore (1) whether a STEM focused workshop and follow-up coaching results in increased K-6 STEM instruction by IUPUI Teacher Education Program (TEP) graduates in their first year of instruction and (2) how the intricacies of educational practice in elementary schools impact the curriculum choices and activities selected by new in-service teachers.

The purpose of this study is to explore whether a STEM-focused workshop and follow-up coaching can increase STEM instruction among graduates of the IUPUI Teacher Education Program (TEP) during their first year of teaching.
