Brief description of study.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of duloxetine and pregabalin for the treatment of pain and overall physical functioning in Veterand with GWI and to assess the safety and tolerability of these medications.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of duloxetine and pregabalin for the treatment of pain and overall physical functioning in Veterand with GWI and to assess the safety and tolerability of these medications.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates the effects of an investigational medication on pain and physical functioning in veterans with Gulf War Illness (GWI). Gulf War Illness is a condition that affects veterans who served in the Gulf War, causing symptoms like chronic pain, fatigue, and cognitive problems.

Participants will receive either the investigational medication or a placebo, which is an inactive substance that looks like the investigational medicine but does not contain any medicine. The study will monitor the safety and tolerability of the treatments.

  • Who can participate: Veterans aged 18 and older who served in the Gulf War and experience symptoms such as chronic pain, fatigue, and cognitive problems are eligible to participate.
  • Study details: Participants will receive either the investigational medication or a placebo.
