The purpose of this study is to investigate the use of magnetic resonance enterography (MRE) in children who have Crohn's disease. Crohn's disease is a condition that causes inflammation in the digestive tract, leading to symptoms like stomach pain and diarrhea. MRE is a type of imaging test that helps doctors see inside the intestines without using radiation.
Participants in the study will undergo an MRE, which is a painless procedure similar to an MRI. During the MRE, children will lie still in a machine that takes detailed pictures of their intestines. This will help doctors assess the severity of Crohn's disease and plan appropriate treatment.
- Who can participate: Children aged X to Y who are scheduled to undergo magnetic resonance enterography for Crohn's disease evaluation are eligible.
